BEAUTY BENEFITS
The nutrients nourish and reenergize the effects of aging and the oils added help skin retain moisture and elasticity.
WHY GOATS MILK SOAP?
Most commercial soaps are made with harsh detergents and petroleum products. The detergents actually strip the natural oils from your skin, and how can petroleum be healthy.
DID YOU KNOW…
That up to 60% of what you put onto you and your children's skin is absorbed into the body? Your skin is actually our body's largest organ. It is a porous membrane that lets impurities in and out of our bodies, it is our first line of defense from the UV rays and environmental pollutants; keeping it healthy is of utmost importance.
In reading manufacturer's labels for soap/shampoo products, what you mainly find are preservatives, synthetic foaming agents, parabens, petrochemicals and dyes.
For years people have trusted big brands naively. Until you start doing research what those ingredients really are and how they are chemically made, most people are shocked that they are using synthetic ingredients and chemicals that can put your health to risk with long term use.
Amazingly there's no law against it, FDA guidelines allow just about any ingredients to be used in skin care products. The average person uses between 10-45 lbs. of soap, shampoo and cosmetics per year. These products are directly absorbed by our skin and because of this they can be as high as 10 times the concentration of an oral dose; this is especially true of products that are used on kids.
We are a society that has this information at our fingertips. Most people, myself included, have realized and changed our eating habits by switching to natural/organic foods as well as checking labels for unhealthy ingredients. The outside of our bodies is every bit important as our inside. That's the reason I got started in soap making, and continually strive to produce the best product possible.
